I joined MGH as a Staff Therapist more than 5 years ago. While I already had about 5 years of experience as on OT and had seen many different patient populations, I hadn't yet focused on a specialized population. Early in my career, I became the lead Occupational Therapist for the outpatient department of a Maine hospital. I was not the most seasoned professional on our rehab staff and I realized I would need to prove myself as a provider, colleague, supervisor, and patient advocate.
